Digital Delivery Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
GD&T's deliverables are digital. This policy explains how and when you receive them.
How deliverables are delivered
All deliverables, including CAD models, engineering drawings, inspection reports, FAI and PPAP documentation, consulting markups, and data exports, are transmitted electronically via a secure download link sent to the email address on your quote. We do not mail physical media or paper reports unless separately quoted.
File formats
- CAD models: STEP (.stp), IGES (.igs), and native formats (SolidWorks .sldprt; AutoCAD .dwg/.dxf) as stated on your quote
- Reports and documentation: PDF; AS9102 forms for FAI; Excel (.xlsx) data exports on request
- Other formats may be available. Ask when requesting your quote.
When delivery is complete
Delivery is complete when the download link is transmitted to your email on file. You will receive a delivery notice at the same time. For projects with a balance due, the final deliverable link is released upon receipt of the balance payment.
Download links
Links remain active for 30 days from delivery. If a link expires or fails, we will re-issue it free of charge. Email quotes@gdandtiinc.com with your quote number.

Your review responsibility

Parts shipped for measurement
Some services (inspection, FAI, reverse engineering) require you to ship a physical part to our laboratory for measurement. The service you purchase, and everything we deliver back to you, remains digital. Inbound shipping is your responsibility; return shipping of your part, where requested, is billed at cost. Ship to: Geometric Design & Technology, Inc., Attn: Receiving, 20040 Cochranton Rd, Meadville, PA 16335. Include your quote number.
